The Post NAC/NAP Midwifery programme is a specialized course designed for nurses and midwives who have already obtained their Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) certification (NAC/NAP - Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife equivalent). This programme aims to upgrade their skills, knowledge, and competencies to meet the evolving demands of maternal and newborn healthcare. It provides advanced training in areas such as antenatal care, intrapartum and postpartum management, newborn care, emergency obstetrics, and reproductive health. The course integrates evidence-based practices, research methodologies, and leadership principles to equip graduates to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and contribute to reducing maternal and neonatal mortality rates in Ghana.
