btech water and sanitation engineering

The BTech Water and Sanitation Engineering programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to address the critical challenges of water resource management, sanitation, and public health in Ghana and beyond. This interdisciplinary programme integrates engineering principles with environmental science, public health, and social considerations to provide students with a holistic understanding of the water and sanitation sector. Students will learn about water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater treatment technologies, solid waste management, sanitation systems design, and the principles of sustainable water resource management. The programme emphasizes practical training through laboratory work, field visits, and design projects, preparing students for careers in government agencies, NGOs, private sector companies, and research institutions.
