The BTech Renewable Energy Systems Engineering programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, develop, implement, and manage renewable energy systems. It covers a wide range of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and geothermal, while also emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainable practices. Students will learn the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, as well as the specific principles and applications of various renewable energy sources. The programme also incorporates aspects of energy policy, economics, and environmental sustainability, preparing graduates to address the complex challenges of the energy sector in Ghana and beyond.
