The BSc Water Resources Development programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and develop water resources sustainably. It covers the hydrological cycle, water quality, water resources planning, irrigation, drainage, and the impact of human activities on water resources. Students will learn to apply engineering principles, scientific methods, and management techniques to address water-related challenges in Ghana and beyond. The programme also emphasizes the importance of integrated water resources management (IWRM) and the need for balancing competing demands for water while protecting the environment.
