The BSc Urban Planning and Development programme provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the complex challenges facing urban areas in Ghana and globally. It focuses on the theories, principles, and practices of urban planning, development, and management. Students will learn about urban design, land use planning, transportation planning, environmental planning, housing, infrastructure development, and community development. The programme emphasizes sustainable development, social equity, and economic viability in urban areas. Students will also develop skills in data analysis, spatial analysis using GIS, policy analysis, project management, and community engagement.
