The BSc Medical Imaging programme is a comprehensive undergraduate degree designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and contribute to patient care. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, covering topics such as radiation physics, anatomy, physiology, imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine), image processing, and patient safety. Students will learn the principles behind each imaging technique, how to optimize image quality, and how to recognize normal and abnormal anatomy.
