The BSc Geography and Earth Sciences program provides a comprehensive understanding of the Earth's physical environment, its human populations, and the interactions between them. It combines the study of geographical processes, such as climate, landforms, and ecosystems, with the study of Earth's geological history, materials, and processes. Students will learn to analyze spatial patterns, interpret geological data, and apply scientific principles to address environmental challenges and resource management issues. The program integrates fieldwork, laboratory work, and data analysis to provide a well-rounded educational experience. Core concepts include cartography, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), geomorphology, climatology, hydrology, mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, and environmental science.
