The BSc Environmental Health and Sanitation Education programme is an interdisciplinary course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and protect public health through environmental management and sanitation practices. The programme integrates principles of environmental science, public health, education, and social sciences to address environmental health challenges in Ghana and beyond. Students will learn about environmental pollution, water and sanitation, waste management, food hygiene, disease control, and health education, as well as the pedagogical skills to effectively communicate and implement environmental health interventions. The program emphasizes practical training and community engagement to prepare graduates to become effective environmental health practitioners, educators, and advocates.
