The BSc Entomology and Wildlife program is an interdisciplinary degree designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the biology, ecology, and management of insects and wildlife, with a focus on their interactions and conservation within Ghanaian and African ecosystems. This program explores the vital roles insects play in various ecosystems, agricultural settings, and public health, while also examining the ecology, behavior, and conservation of wildlife species. Students will learn about insect and wildlife identification, behavior, physiology, genetics, and population dynamics, as well as the impacts of habitat loss, climate change, and human activities on these animal groups. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical field and laboratory experiences to prepare graduates for careers in research, conservation, pest management, wildlife management, and environmental consulting.
