The BSc Aquaculture and Fisheries Science programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of aquatic ecosystems, fish biology, and the principles of sustainable aquaculture and fisheries management. The programme equips students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary to contribute to the responsible production of aquatic food, the conservation of aquatic resources, and the sustainable development of the aquaculture and fisheries sectors in Ghana and beyond. Students will learn about fish breeding, feeding, health management, and harvesting techniques, as well as the ecological and economic aspects of fisheries management.
