The BSc Animal Science and Fisheries programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animal biology, production, and health, alongside the principles of fisheries management and aquaculture. The programme equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable animal and fish production, conservation, and management in Ghana and beyond. Core concepts include animal nutrition, genetics, reproduction, disease management, aquaculture techniques, fisheries ecology, and resource management. Students will learn about various livestock species, fish species, and their respective production systems, as well as the ecological and economic aspects of fisheries and aquaculture.
