The BSc Agro Processing programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to transform agricultural raw materials into value-added products. It covers the entire agro-processing value chain, from post-harvest handling and preservation to processing techniques, packaging, quality control, and marketing. Students will learn about food chemistry, microbiology, engineering principles, and business management as they relate to the agro-processing industry. The programme aims to develop graduates who can contribute to food security, reduce post-harvest losses, and promote the sustainable growth of the agro-processing sector in Ghana and beyond.
