The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to become effective and passionate early childhood educators. The programme focuses on child development theories, curriculum development, pedagogy specific to young children, and inclusive education practices. Students will learn how to create stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments, assess children's progress, and collaborate with families and communities to support children's holistic development. Emphasis is placed on play-based learning, creative expression, and fostering positive social-emotional skills in young children. The programme also addresses the cultural and contextual factors that influence early childhood education in Ghana and beyond.
