The Bachelor of Education (Arts) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become effective and engaging teachers in various arts disciplines at the basic and secondary levels of education in Ghana. This programme provides a strong foundation in both pedagogy (the art and science of teaching) and a chosen area of specialization within the arts, such as English Language, Literature, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Music, Visual Arts, or Ghanaian Languages. Students will explore educational theories, teaching methodologies, classroom management techniques, and assessment strategies, all while deepening their understanding and appreciation of their chosen arts discipline. The programme emphasizes practical teaching experience through internships and practicum, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to inspire and guide the next generation of artists, thinkers, and communicators.
