The Bachelor of Public Health Nursing programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to promote health, prevent disease, and provide care for individuals, families, and communities. The programme integrates nursing science with public health principles, preparing graduates to address the complex health challenges facing Ghana and the world. Students will learn about epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health promotion, disease prevention, and community health assessment. They will also develop strong clinical skills in areas such as maternal and child health, communicable disease control, and primary health care. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, cultural sensitivity, and ethical decision-making.
