The Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to become effective and nurturing educators of young children (birth to eight years). The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of child development, learning theories, curriculum design, assessment, and inclusive practices. Students will learn how to create stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Emphasis is placed on practical experiences, including observation and teaching practicum, to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the challenges and rewards of working with young children. The programme also integrates Ghanaian cultural contexts and values to prepare graduates to effectively serve diverse communities.
