The Bachelor of Arts in Translation programme is designed to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to become professional translators. The programme focuses on developing proficiency in at least two languages (usually English and a Ghanaian language, or English and another international language like French or Spanish). Students will learn about translation theories, techniques, and technologies, and gain experience in translating various types of texts, including literary, technical, legal, and commercial documents. Emphasis is placed on cultural sensitivity and ethical considerations in translation.
