The BA in Social and Community Development Studies is an interdisciplinary programme designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address social issues, promote community development, and contribute to positive social change. The programme focuses on understanding the social, economic, political, and cultural factors that shape communities and affect the well-being of individuals and groups. Students learn about development theories, community organizing principles, social policy analysis, and research methods. They also develop practical skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The programme emphasizes participatory approaches and ethical considerations in development work.
