The BA in Rural Community Development is a multidisciplinary programme designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to address the complex challenges facing rural communities in Ghana and beyond. It focuses on understanding the social, economic, environmental, and political dimensions of rural life, and on developing strategies for sustainable development, poverty reduction, and community empowerment. Students will learn about participatory development approaches, project management, community mobilization, and policy advocacy. The programme emphasizes practical experience through fieldwork, internships, and community-based research.
