The BA Development Studies programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the social, economic, and political processes that shape development in local, national, and global contexts. It equips students with interdisciplinary perspectives and analytical tools to critically examine development challenges and opportunities. The programme emphasizes sustainable and equitable development, social justice, and participatory approaches. Students will learn to analyze development policies, design and manage development projects, and advocate for positive social change. Core concepts include theories of development, poverty and inequality, globalization, environmental sustainability, governance, and human rights.
